Wrong operation of Yuchai generator set will affect the life span of Yuchai generator set. However, sometimes, it may be due to the problem of habit that we always make wrong operation on Yuchai generator set inadvertently, such as:
1. After the cold start of diesel engine, the throttle will be slammed: if the throttle is slammed, the speed of Yuchai generator set will rise sharply, and some conflict surfaces on the engine will be severely worn due to dry conflict; moreover, the acceptance capacity of piston, connecting rod and crankshaft will change greatly when the throttle is blasted, which will cause severe impact and easily damage the parts.
2. When the diesel engine is running short of oil: at this time, there will be conflicts due to the lack of oil supply, which will lead to abnormal wear or burn.
3. Operating under the condition of lack of cooling water or high temperature of cooling water and engine oil: the lack of cooling water of Yuchai generator set will reduce its cooling effect, and the diesel engine will overheat because it can not get useful cooling; if the oil temperature of cooling water and engine oil is too high, the diesel engine will overheat.
4. Load operation without warming up the engine after cold start: the diesel engine should work at idle speed to increase temperature after cooling, and then work with load when the oil temperature reaches above 40 ℃; the machine should start with low speed gear, and travel in each gear step by step until the oil temperature is normal and the oil supply is sufficient. Otherwise, cylinder pulling and tile burning are easy to occur.
5. Emergency stop with load or stop immediately after sudden load removal: before the shutdown of Yuchai generator set, the load shall be removed, and the speed shall be gradually reduced and no-load operation shall be carried out for several minutes. Otherwise, the oil content on the conflict surface will be insufficient if the Yuchai generator unit is shut down without idling and cooling, and the diesel engine will be further worn due to poor lubrication when it is started again.
